Somatotropine / Somatropine

This Post is also available in: German

Somatotropin is being used since 1963 for the treatment of short stature, when it is caused by growth hormone deficiency. Since 1985 somatropin was produced by genetic engineering.
Synthetic Growth Hormone is also known as “anti-aging” (- it means it’s used where there is no relevant evidence of a long-term benefit). In bodybuilding Somatropin is misused due to its muscle-forming properties.

Somatropin the human growth hormone is a peptide hormone (protein) that is formed in the pituitary gland (hypophysis) of any healthy person, and is secreted from there into the bloodstream. The outstanding effect of the growth hormone in children is the stimulation of body growth. Moreover, it also stimulates the protein, fat and bone metabolism in order to allow the growth of the organism.

It has strong constitutive effects, especially in combination with testosterone and its relatives, as well as with insulin for bodybuilding – and fat loss.
Somatotropin is the basis for achievement of normal growth. At a reduced production rate or reduced response of the cells to somatotropin it comes to a short stop. Overproduction results in gigantism or acromegaly, I.e excessive growth of the not yet ossified areas in the extremities such as the nose, chin, fingers and the skull bone and all soft tissues (for example, cardiomegaly).
Speaking the cells reduced, or not at all on growth hormone, so this is known as Somatotropinresistenz or also the LARON syndrome.
Talk about the reduced body cells, or no somatotropin growth hormone intake at all, this is referred to as Somatotropinresistance or the LARON syndrome.
Reexamined somatotropin is particularly anabolic in the following parts of the body: bones, muscles, liver.
Somatropin leads to increased amino acid uptake and utilization in these organs.
Moreover, somatotropin increases blood sugar levels (by glycogenolysis) and acts as a soldier to the fat cells.
The growth hormone leads to the increased release of insulin growth factor (IGF), which among other things stimulates bone growth.
Somatropin is considered worldwide as an ethical pharmaceutical products, i.e. to those drugs whose effectiveness is proven and for which there is no substitute.

Side effects / overdose:

Overdoses can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome, decreased glucose tolerance (a grown tendency to diabetes), breast enlargements (even for men) and fluid retention, cardiovascular disease caused by growth of innernen Oragane, growth on the nose, chin, forehead and ears.
On doping list / Detectable since:
Somatotropin growth hormone is reliably detectable since 1999 by the endocrinologist Christian Strasburger with a model developed procedure. Somatropin is one of doping substances and is banned by the IOC.

Application / dosage:

Muscle Building: 4 I.U. per day, divided into 2-3 injections.
Fat Loss: 2 – 6 IU per day,
The body reduces its own production (1 – 2 IU per day) of somatropin in accordance with the supplied amount, which means that a dose in this area, only the body would replace production.
Somatropin must be stored in cool temperatures, otherwise it will lose its effect ability.

The dosage information here do not follow the dosage recommendations prescribed by a physician or medical advice. This is information given by bodybuilders who are using these drugs or have used these drugs. The dosages are not to be considered as generally applicable. If you wish to use steroids, ask a doctor or pharmacist.

Black market prices / availability:

On the black market cost 10 I.U. Genotropin (3.3 mg) approximately 40.00 and 75.00 euros. Genotropin is readily available on the black market. There are, for example, so-called low-price products from China, they are considerably cheaper, approximately 10.00 to 25.00 euros per 10 I.U. These are usually not as effective as Genotropin.
The only known real Somatropin from China is Jintropin. Jintropin cost on the black market about 25.00 to 40.00 euros per 10 I.U.
